Italian race “team” bikes dont get much more serious than this. Built from special oversize & custom shaped Columbus Neuron tubing (their ultra light oversize competition tube) this bike weighs in at only 9.2Kg complete.
- Built with a mixed 9 x speed Campagnolo 53/39 Record/Chorus Groupset.
- Cables are all new Campag througout.
- New lightweight narrow race chain
- The Saddle is an improbably light Selle Itallia Titanium rail Flite on a beautiful Miche Aero post.
- Bars are Anatomic Modolo with new Prologo grippy bar tape (so comfy on the drops) and a nice Cinelli stem.
- Wheels are a beautiful NOS set of mint Campagnolo Record hubs with mint Red Anodised Open Pro rims and stainless spokes.
- The fabulous new Vittoria Open Corsa SC Pro series are fitted with 60gm Latex tubes.
- Together with the 320tpi carcases, its an incredible ride!
As a team frame, its had a life with quite a few scrapes that have been badly touched up (not by me) but I think thats all part of its hard as nails charm.
