We are nuts about classic steel bikes and I have enthusiastically ridden all the bikes listed here around the Cotswold Hills and further afield (that’s why in many cases, the pictures show some signs of use and a bit of dust or muddy water spots). However, I am clear the remarkable quality of the machines will show through, they are meant to be ridden! As Eddy Merckx said “Ride as much or as little, as long or as short as you want, but ride”!
